Hi, I’m Loren, an artist and designer in Long Beach, CA.

I was a painter first. Design became my path later: a skill I leaned on, a craft I grew into, and eventually a love I didn’t expect when I started art school. I’ve spent about 15 years building brands and visual systems in the tech world, work I genuinely enjoy, until a layoff during early motherhood cracked something open in me.

It felt like a signal: come back to the part that’s always been yours.

These days, I’m balancing motherhood, freelance design, and a steady return to my own creative practice, making work that’s playful, honest, and meant to live with you. Art you can hang up, feel something from, and keep around as your life shifts.

I’m also building this space for connection. I’m drawn to creativity as a way back to ourselves, sometimes through quiet focus, sometimes through ritual, sometimes through tools that help the nervous system settle. Cannabis has been one of those tools for me: not a requirement, not the point, just a way to soften the noise so I can show up and make.
